SUPERVISION AND TEACHING
Supervision
I have over nine years' experience clinically supervising CBT therapists (both in training and qualified), psychologists and psychological wellbeing practitioners (PWPs). I have completed the IAPT supervision training for PWPs and high intensity therapists. I am BABCP accredited and have experience of completing CTS-Rs on audio recordings of therapy sessions and doing supervisor reports for BABCP accreditation.
I am able to offer private supervision to trainee or qualified CBT practitioners and psychologists and other therapists working integratively. Supervision can be held in your home, place of work or my home or clinics based in Colchester. Travel expenses may also be charged if I am travelling to you. I also offer supervision via Skype.

Teaching
I have written and presented teaching sessions to various health professionals on mental health and CBT topics, including primary care mental health, perinatal mental health problems, CBT formulation and goal setting in therapy. I have also led antenatal classes on preparing psychologically for parenthood. Additionally, I have co-written and conducted teaching sessions on psychological assessment and psychometrics for Trainee Clinical Psychologists at the University of Essex.
I am able to provide bespoke teaching sessions together with accompanying printed and electronic literature to health professionals on the following topics:
* primary care mental health - including depression and anxiety disorders
* CBT - a general introduction or a focus on specific skills or aspects, e.g. assessment, formulation, behavioural experiments, thought challenging, etc
* general therapy skills, e.g. client engagement, assessment, formulation, relapse prevention
* perinatal mental health - including working with antenatal or postnatal depression, birth trauma and antenatal or postnatal anxiety
